Acne Treatment ~ One of our most common treatments. Aerolase offers a unique double effect for acne treatment, referred to as Acne Clear. Because of the laser's high energy output and attraction to hemoglobin, it can simultaneously reduce active acne while stimulating collagen formation to reduce acne scars. The laser light shrinks the sebaceous gland, reducing oil production, while superheating and destroying trapped bacteria, reducing inflammation, suppressing redness, decreasing pore size, and clearing scarred areas. Laser Hair Reduction ~ The laser-generated heat attacks and destroys the hair follicle, eliminating further hair growth. The hair must be in the anagen stage of active hair growth with the hair located close to the skin surface to be treatable. A series of treatments is required, spaced 4-5 weeks apart.
